On Valentine’s Day

This morning, I found out that February 13th is observed by some as “Galentine’s Day”. What a sweet sentiment! I started thinking about all the women I have been and continue to be inspired by – a lot of whom are currently in my life. I was led to Proverbs 31 once more and wrote down all the characteristics I observed. This is lovingly written with all of you ladies in mind. I see so much of you all in what I read. I pray that you Value who you are and Whose you are!

She Values God above everything else.

She Plans.

She Delegates and Solicits help.

She has Healthy Relationships.

She has her own Thoughts.

She has an Opinion.

She has a sense of Humor.

She has her own Style.

She is a Place of Safety.

She is Compassionate.

She has Several Pursuits.

She is Kind.

She makes choices that Look to the Future.

She Takes Care of Herself.

She Rests.

She has Fun.

She is Healthy and Strong.

She is Hard-working.

She is Loving.

She is at Peace with herself and her God.

When I first read Proverbs 31 all I saw was a woman in relation to everyone around her. On closer inspection, you see a woman all her own – autonomous and yet in rich relationship with other’s!

Have a lovely Galentine’s Day, Dearests!
